The concert title for the October 2024 : "Areumdri Concert: Embracing Hope for Coexistence of Nature and Humanity."

Classic music is - “In the era when environmental pollution wasn't an issue, classical music compositions predominantly celebrated the beauty of nature." However, contemporary society finds itself in the midst of a climate crisis, necessitating heightened awareness of the threatened global environment. In an effort to address the Earth's climate crisis and advocate for environmental preservation, performances focusing on nature through various art forms such as music, dance, and visual content aim to inspire audiences to make tangible behavioral changes for the betterment of the planet's environment.

The term "Areumdri" refers to a large tree that one can embrace with both arms, symbolizing the coexistence of nature and humanity. The "Areumdri I" concert, aiming to foster hope for the coexistence of nature and humanity, presents a series of highly artistic performances addressing contemporary environmental issues. Starting with pieces such as "Gwangam Seashore Ballad" and "Changnyeong Upo Wetland," the concert features a variety of music ranging from classical to original compositions, accompanied by visuals and explanations. In future performances, original compositions expressing environmental themes will be presented as a series, with the support of organizations such as the Korean Institute of Ecology Research, the Gyeongnam Water Forum Organizing Committee, and environmental groups including Masan, Changwon, and Jinhae YMCA and YWCA.
